    Yes Or No

     I have a real bad habit
    That's been annoying you
    I'm not strange to want to change
    If I know what to do

    When I speak, I can sound weak
    When I cannot convey
    Whether to say "yes" or "no"
    When there's no other way

    I must let my "yes" mean "yes"
    And let my "no" mean "no"
    No more "maybe" or "perhaps"
    That's not the way to go

    I should get right to the point
    There is no need to lie
    Most answers are "yes" or "no"
    A fact I won't deny

    "Yes" or "no"? What will I say
    When I'm faced with that question?
    I've leaned on you for advice
    Tell me, what's your suggestion?

    As long as I'm honest and
    Have some integrity
    When I am asked "yes" or "no"
    I'll answer truthfully
