Stargazer
Nighttime falls upon the earthI'm glad the sky is clear
That's because when twilight ends
The stars slowly appear
What an awesome sight to see!
I will see Mars, I hope
Should I use binoculars
Or a good telescope?
I like to connect the dots
Of all the stars I see
Chart the constellations and
Observe each galaxy
Predict the path of planets
As they orbit our sun
I could spend all night outside
The fun has just begun
Amateur astronomer
A stargazer in love
With the heavenly bodies
That shine so high above
Are these stars the product of
A single, great big blast?
Did the universe exist
Forever in the past?
Different theories still persist
I believe most are flawed
I believe the heavens prove
The existence of God
The stars are no accident
Their origin's devine
I'm a stargazer who sees
Intelligent design
