Moving On
I won't turn around againThe past is dead and gone
It no longer haunts my heart
Because I'm moving on
Moving at a forward pace
I won't look back at all
What I did learn from my past
Is that it hurts to fall
Get back up, wipe off the dust
That has dirtied your skin
If you choose to bleed and bruise
Don't cry if you don't win
There's a race to be on top
Focus on what's ahead
Don't lose track, never glance back
Or you'll slow down instead
I have left the past behind
Or else I'll feel regret
Over every made mistake
I'd want you to forget
Why obsess about something
You can no longer change?
Would you think of me badly?
Wouldn't you think I'm strange?
You cannot turn back the clock
The past is dead and gone
Let the present be your gift
And keep on moving on
