    Victory

     I felt like such a failure
    And hated myself too
    When I saw my reflection
    I wished that I was you

    Sometimes I felt so ugly
    Was never satisfied
    I felt sorry for myself
    And thought of suicide

    How much lower could I feel
    When my thoughts were of death?
    Drowning in a sea of tears
    I had to hold my breath

    Every breath could be my last
    That's why I should live long
    Somewhere inside me there is
    A part that must be strong

    Every day that passes by
    Is one more day to give
    Everything I have in me
    To continue to live

    Not just live or to exist
    But to live happily
    Every day that I move on
    Is one small victory

    One day at a time to change
    Because I know I can
    Conquer every obstacle
    To be a better man

    That is why I'll overcome
    The negatives I'll meet
    Through the ups and downs of life
    Each victory is sweet

    Every victory is good
    Whether it's great or small
    One step at a time to win
    Because I gave my all
