     You have an effect on me
    That's so hard to describe
    I am truly mesmerised
    Hypnotized by your vibe

    Yes, you really knock me out
    Let the courtship begin
    But when I get close to you
    My world begins to spin

    I feel nauseous, I feel sick
    Is this what love can do?
    This infatuation has
    Me obsessing on you

    I can't think straight, I won't eat
    It's hard to concentrate
    Every time I think of you
    It speeds up my heart rate

    I'd like to spend time with you
    I'll never be too busy
    You have an effect on me
    Yes, I've been feeling dizzy

    Please say that you love me too
    I guess it all depends
    On how much you care for me
    If we'll at least stay friends

    I still feel the side effects
    Of a love that is true
    Even after all these years
    I'm still dizzy for you

    I would like to see a bit more range in topic and see you develop a style beyond romantic verse. Non the less, the poem is good and a nice read.
