Earthquakes
When disasters hit you hardAnd suddenly you're scared
I'll surmise that it is wise
To always be prepared
When the unexpected comes
You may not be so ready
I have done my best to keep
The ground I walk on steady
Yet I've stood on shaky ground
And made foolish mistakes
Understand that they're not planned
The advent of earthquakes
They can happen any time
And almost everywhere
Some are easy to endure
But most are hard to bear
Earthquakes happen, do not fear
Their unforgiving wrath
If you strive, you will survive
The shock and aftermath
Earthquakes always are a threat
That no one wants around
Lord I pray, that I won't sway
Away from solid ground
