     I never meant to hurt you
    Or even make you cry
    If I cannot mend your wounds
    A part of me will die

    It hurts to see you like this
    So tearful and depressed
    I'll give my all to ensure
    That I can do my best

    I'm determined to make this
    A better time for you
    Let me whisper in your ear
    Exactly what I'll do

    You can tell me anything
    And can depend on me
    Love has led me to your heart
    A fact I guarantee

    Love has brought us together
    It tells you I'll be there
    I'll be here to bring you cheer
    And show you that I care

    It is all because of love
    A kind meant to endure
    An unconditional love
    Forever strong and pure

    I'm with you because of love
    Because I respect you
    I will never lie again
    Believe me, this is true

    I'll be honest and sincere
    Whenever you're with me
    It's because of love that I'll
    Prove my integrity

    I'll be a man of my word
    Someone thought highly of
    My heart gravitates towards you
    Simply because of love
