    Fight Or Flight

     Some decisions can be tough
    If you don't know what's right
    The dilemmas that I face
    Can keep me up all night

    I've been bullied, threatened too
    Instinct says I should fight
    But instead I give in by
    Fleeing and taking flight

    Fly away or fight today?
    Cower or raise my voice?
    Do I know what I'm doing?
    Do I have any choice?

    Assess the situation
    I need to realize
    Sometimes life is fight or flight
    There is no compromise

    You cannot have it both ways
    I've learned that as a fact
    My adrenalin kicks in
    If I'm being attacked

    What is the best self-defense?
    Maybe I should retreat
    Better to protect myself
    Than face painful defeat

    I'm a man without a plan
    But if I face a foe
    Should I turn the other cheek?
    I really want to know

    Fight or flight? It's black or white
    To win or take a dive?
    What to do is up to you
    In order to survive
