    Ray Of Sunshine

     I enjoy your company
    You are a pleasant sight
    I'm glad that you're my girlfriend
    We rarely even fight

    Even in my darkest days
    I know that I can cope
    When you're here, you bring me cheer
    You are my light of hope

    When the clouds hung over me
    I felt sorrow and dread
    Where's a ray of sunshine that
    Will pierce through overhead?

    Sometimes I cry like a child
    This boy's looking for joy
    Then you came, erased my shame
    And all that did annoy

    I was once frustrated, but
    The time was overdue
    My search for a ray of light
    Ended when I found you

    You are my ray of sunshine
    I know that you're the one
    Who I will marry someday
    Your love is like the sun

    You are like the sun that shines
    Beautifully above
    Radiating warmth and light
    That fills me up with love

    Even in the dark of night
    You have a special glow
    Your heat can stoke up a fire
    But we will take things slow

    I need my ray of sunshine
    The love that you emit
    Will always be in my heart
    Never to fade or quit

    I love my ray of sunshine
    You are my rainbow too
    A spectrum of bright colors
    Will always shine from you
