Never Forget You
Memories can fade awayThey're remnants of our past
I proclaim that it's a shame
That many do not last
I want to remember you
For the man that you were
Never forget yesterday
Which can seem like a blur
Ever since you passed away
It's been no guarantee
That I'd always remember
Each fading memory
There's a promise I must make
Even though you are gone
I'll make sure your legacy
Will always carry on
I will never forget you
Your past is safe with me
Memories of a father
Who loved his family
Writing down our history
Saving each photograph
Reminiscing of the times
When we shared a good laugh
There was laughter, there were tears
I savor every drop
In my heart you're still alive
The memories won't stop
I will never forget you
Even though you're not here
Love will thrive, you'll still survive
In every single tear
