    Poem Commentary

    Please take the time to consider the message that this important poem is trying to convey. I am strongly against all forms of abortion. The purpose of this poem is only to inform and is a plea to end legalized abortion. Maybe my view is too rigid, but I stand by my words. If you are pro abortion ( pro " choice " ), I hope that you can at least appreciate my zeal and passion for this topic. I hope, in the least, that abotions will become less frequent.

    A Precious Gift

     A baby is a precious gift
    That God can give to you
    Every parent truly sees
    How miracles come true

    Please don't harm these little ones
    A promise should be sworn
    Give them all the care they need
    Before they're even born

    Please don't have an abortion
    Your baby needs to live
    Better to adopt him out
    A great alternative

    Consider all the reasons
    Why you should keep your son
    Abortion is barbaric
    And never should be done

    Some people can be selfish
    Rebellious and brash
    Please don't throw away your son
    He's not a piece of trash
