Simplified
All the knowledge that we holdSomehow seems to have grown cold
With a life that's so demanding
We have lost our understanding
Apathetic in compliance
We have served the gods of science
If we want to learn some truth
We should look back to our youth
So sincere in many ways
Reminisce of simpler days
What I learned was not debated
There was nothing complicated
My perspectives weren't dictated
By the so-called educated
I was free to form my views
That weren't based on TV news
Brainwashed, biased, stubborn earth
Little children have their worth
Innocence exemplified
Life is better simplified
