     Optimism springs to life
    The party has begun
    Celebrate all that is good
    Sometimes we should have fun

    Step into the sunshine and
    Escape from needless pain
    Even if the sun won't shine
    You should embrace the rain

    Through the sunshine and the rain
    The snow, the wind, or hail
    You can withstand anything
    Believe that you can't fail

    Keep on moving forward, you
    Have got all that it takes
    Have a cheerful attitude
    Don't dwell on past mistakes

    Optimism carries you
    Even when news is bad
    Celebrate with gratitude
    The good times that you've had
