    Man On A Mission

     You cannot be everything
    To everyone you meet
    Many can be hard to please
    I feel so incomplete

    I know my limitations
    But do not know their cause
    I don't want to waste more time
    Listening for applause

    In the past, I may have asked
    For some recognition
    But today, I need to say
    That I'm on a mission

    I am on a mission to
    Succeed without your blessing
    If I do not make things right
    My life will be depressing

    I'm a man on a mission
    My agenda is grand
    Will this world give me a chance?
    I hope they understand

    I am not here to please them
    I'll get there on my own
    Let me march to my own drum
    I'm here to set the tone

    I have the integrity
    The zeal and ambition
    A man with a plan who can
    I'm a man with a mission
