The Hard Way
Mistakes are a part of lifeThat we wish were not there
No one plans to commit one
Nobody likes to err
They say to err is human
I don't doubt that at all
Some mistakes can be tragic
But some also are small
Mistakes are a part of life
Never to be enjoyed
Every kind of error made
Has left me so annoyed
Yet we can learn from mistakes
If they are not repeated
Sometimes you'll learn the hard way
That they can be defeated
I am prone to make mistakes
That's what makes me a man
The best way to avoid them
Is to research and plan
Look before you leap, my friend
And think before you act
Don't put your foot in your mouth
In other words, use tact
Don't jump to conclusions and
It's not good to assume
If your life's filled with mistakes
It's not all gloom and doom
I have learned from my mistakes
I'm glad that I learned fast
I've learned from experience
Not to dwell on the past
That's why we should move forward
Away from yesterday
I'm a man who doesn't plan
To travel the hard way
