    The Military

     If war is not the answer
    What's the alternative?
    Surrender to our enemies
    And hope that we will live?

    I do not like violence
    Wars can be very tense
    I am not a fan of guns
    But we need self-defense

    Wars are fought for reasons that
    Can widely change and vary
    What would happen to this land
    Without the military?

    Every brave man and woman
    Will give their lives for me
    Just so I can live right here
    The world's greatest country

    Those of you against all wars
    Need to know all the facts
    We've reduced the potential
    Of terrorist attacks

    We've been on the offensive
    In this new global war
    We should fight to make things right
    Our land's worth fighting for

    Well done. Your composition is first rate. Naturally, I agree with your conclusion. Nobody fights war for fun, no matter how popular/unpopular their reasoning. Great work, Schiz : )

    i agree whole heartedly with you. as one who has been there, i hate wars too, but understand that we need to have the courage to defend ourselves and those who cant.
