    Mine Again

     How can I begin to heal
    The scars upon my heart?
    You have broken it again
    Why must we stay apart?

    How much longer will I cry
    Those salty tears I've shed?
    Missing you and wishing you
    Were mine again instead

    Seeing you with someone else
    Is so hard to ignore
    You won't answer my phone calls
    And won't answer your door

    It's been so hard to accept
    The fact that we are done
    I confess, I do obsess
    To me, you're still the one

    I admit, I will not quit
    Thinking of what we were
    Without you, it's not the same
    Why did all this occur?

    Desperate and so alone
    I've seen your other men
    Even though we've broken up
    You should be mine again

    It's awful to lose a love
    My jealousy has spoken
    Will you break another's heart
    The same way mine's been broken?

    Never to be mine again
    A blessing in disguise?
    Even though I have been hurt
    Hating you is not wise

    I only wish you the best
    Find the man of your choosing
    Since you're gone, I have moved on
    And life seems less confusing
