Hyperactive Boy
He runs around in circlesWhile clutching a new toy
Please cut down on the sugar
He's a hyperactive boy
Some may think that he's a brat
Watching him is a chore
He has lots of energy
For a boy who is four
He was hard to potty train
No longer needs a diaper
Yet he still needs discipline
It's harder when he's hyper
He has the attention span
Of someone half his age
Sometimes he'll have tantrums that
Turn into fits of rage
He wants this and he wants that
He'll scream to get his way
I am glad I'm not his dad
Sometimes kids don't obey
He's my nephew, I love him
To me, he's like a son
Hyper ways are just a phase
I guess that makes him fun
Now he's jumping on the couch
An act he must enjoy
I'm tired just watching him
My hyperactive boy
