Islands In The Sky
Pink clouds hover overhead
It's quite an awesome sight
When the sun sets to the west
I touch the rays of light
Shades of purple, reddish orange
Will introduce the night
One more sunset passes by
The sky's no longer bright
What was vivid is now gray
And grows duller and duller
Dark clouds stand as sentinels
Once they have lost their color
Now the moon illuminates
All that which floats up high
The clouds look just like islands
Gray islands in the sky
The moon and stars sing songs about
Each island that floats by
How I wish that I could touch
Those islands in the sky
