    Goodbye

     Caring for you isn't hard
    You've been my source of bliss
    All the happiness we've shared
    Is what I'll truly miss

    It has been nice to know you
    We've had a lot of fun
    Will I see you once again
    Or is our friendship done?

    I could talk with you all day
    About our lows and highs
    And about our ups and downs
    But I hate long goodbyes

    If we need some time apart
    Then let go of my hand
    It is wise to analyze
    Exactly where we stand

    So I guess this is goodbye
    There's no more time to spend
    Together through bad weather
    Farewell to you, my friend

    Someday we will reunite
    Neither of us should cry
    It's better for both of us
    For now to say goodbye
