Temper Temper
Slow to anger, slow to wrathIs the best way to be
Try to show some self-control
When in my company
There's always an exception
Righteous anger's okay
Even then, you should know when
To quell all your dismay
Some people have short fuses
They're quick to blow their top
If it were left up to me
Their tantrums need to stop
Looking for an argument
Upset to the extreme
Some seem to enjoy the act
Of letting off some steam
Always angry at the world
Neurotic day and night
With a chip on their shoulders
They're looking for a fight
Easily annoyed hotheads
Should be put in a cage
At least temporarily
Until there's no more rage
Temper temper, I don't like
Angry women or men
If you're feeling angry now
Then slowly count to ten
Temper temper, shame on you
Don't explode like a bomb
Try to be patient, you see
And be civil and calm
Yes, I've lost my temper too
A fact I must admit
I hate anger, but I feel
Like such a hypocrite
We all need to calm the storms
That make us all see red
Most anger seems unhealthy
So be at peace instead
