    Soup

     Crack open a can of soup
    It's known to warm your soul
    There is nothing better than
    A hot and tasty bowl

    Lentil soup is good for you
    I have the recipe
    I won't always eat canned soup
    There's lots of MSG

    Chicken noodle's popular
    I like it in a cup
    It brings out the kid in me
    I slurp the noodles up

    Cream of broccoli is great
    Even some minestrone
    I like eating my beef stew
    With bacon and bologna

    What good is my chowder if
    There is no single clam?
    Split pea's an acquired taste
    It is best with diced ham

    Matzo ball soup, French onion
    Miso soup, ramen too
    And chicken and wild rice
    To only name a few

    Egg drop soup and wonton soup
    Chinese restaurants are
    A soup lover's paradise
    Traditions from afar

    I do not like salad so
    I will choose soup, okay?
    Pretty soon I'll grab a spoon
    What's the soup of the day?
