    Let Me Cry

     Suffering is beautiful
    Sadness, a work of art
    Who would have thought it was good
    To have a broken heart?

    Misery loves company
    That's why I want you here
    All the tears that I'm crying
    Are honest and sincere

    That's why you should let me cry
    I need to let this out
    I am not one to be shy
    That is what I'm about

    I'll take pleasure in some pain
    A crazy thing to do
    I need to release some steam
    And anxiety too

    That's why you should let me cry
    It feels good once I'm done
    Even though it seems to you
    That this is far from fun

    Sorrow has been my best friend
    It only makes me tougher
    I won't fret or get upset
    Even good people suffer

    Make lemonade from lemons
    Be optimistic, bold
    You'll see the silver lining
    Your tears are liquid gold

    Do not hesitate to cry
    Don't keep your tears within
    That's why you should let me cry
    Or else my head would spin

    So many emotions here. i must admit while reading I visualized a that balling person and me the friend with a box of tissues just continuously handing them one after one, like a clown pulls the hankies from his pocket. i know it wasn't meant to be funny but that's what makes a good friend. One who can see the humor in the what seems like the worst of times and always make you smile.

    Enjoyable read. Even though this piece is about tears and crying, it's uplifting, showing the benefits of just letting go. Good work.
