    Redemption

     How can I redeem myself
    From my immoral past?
    Condemnation burdens me
    How long will this guilt last?

    How can I turn things around?
    Atone for sinful acts
    There's no rest for me tonight
    I simply can't relax

    I stand here with a sad heart
    Regretting what I've done
    If I'm seeking forgiveness
    I know that you're the one

    You're the one who will wipe off
    The tears that touch my face
    You're the one I can turn to
    Because you're filled with grace

    Merciful, compassionate
    I'm willing to repent
    For redemption's not from me
    It must be heaven sent

    I have been redeemed by the
    Love that pours out from you
    My redemption is a gift
    And it's a blessing too
