    Escape

     Darkness overshadows me
    As I am filled with fright
    This is what happens to you
    When you avoid the light

    Trapped within a maze of fear
    That my mind has created
    Negative emotions that
    Were not anticipated

    Sadness and depression have
    Led me to cry and doubt
    Loneliness, anxiety
    Can I find my way out?

    I want to escape from here
    The walls are closing in
    In my days inside this maze
    I've lost the will to win

    I must venture on from here
    Even though I feel weak
    Do I know where I must go?
    The light is what I seek

    So no matter what the size
    No matter what's its shape
    Every maze has a way out
    I'm ready to escape

    I'm determined, confident
    I'll escape this world's wrath
    All I need to do is just
    Walk down the brightest path

    Dear Schizo, (boy, that sounded funny) ... this poem reminded me of many of my own ... I'm bad with the names ...?? ... try "Inside" if you have a chance ... I really like how you spoke of a maze ... interesting ... Luna
