    Do I Dare?

    Uphill climb? A waste of time?
    She's all I'm thinking of
    Do I dare to show I care
    By confessing my love?

    Do I dare to approach her?
    I've been too shy to speak
    I'm a man who doesn't want
    Her to think that I'm weak

    Please tell me what I should say
    And if I look the part
    Of someone who's not nervous
    To win this woman's heart

    I have loved her from afar
    She doesn't have a clue
    I can't wait another day
    It's simply overdue

    Now or never? She is the
    Object of my affection
    Do I dare? Make her aware?
    Or will I face rejection?

    There's only one way to know
    And she's right over there
    The last question I'll ask you
    Is tell me, do I dare?

    I guess the one thing i could say is that you'll never know if she'll accept you if you dont give her the chance to. just put yourself out there, and it'll be ookay :)... great rhyming scheme btw. definatly a good love poem. ~Audrey
