    Taking Chances

     It is finally my turn
    To prove that I can shine
    I won't waste time any more
    In searching for a sign

    Now's my time to elevate
    The spotlight is on me
    Will I measure my success
    Only by victory?

    It's like I've been keeping score
    Playing riskier games
    Hoping to come out on top
    And not go down in flames

    I'm willing to take chances
    In order to prevail
    I'll travel that extra mile
    To ensure I won't fail

    Taking chances at my pace
    So I can stay ahead
    Pretty soon I'll be immune
    From any fear or dread

    Taking chances, great or small
    Use your best judgement in
    Figuring which ones to take 
    So give your all to win
