Incentives
Life can be monotonousYes, it can be a bore
Sometimes I need a reason
To finish every chore
My responsibilities
Are tedious to me
That's why I won't promise you
Reliability
I can be lazy at times
Should I get out of bed?
Sometimes I must force myself
To face what lies ahead
I must figure out a way
To be more inventive
As I carry on my tasks
I want an incentive
Whether it is work or school
Both are an obligation
To attend until they end
Do I need motivation?
Sometimes I need incentives
To continue my day
In school, I should want good grades
At work, there is my pay
Some reasons are obvious
For me to learn and thrive
If I'm not independent
How will this man survive?
The best incentives I have?
My children and my wife
They've been what I need to prove
What's important in life
