    Tact

     If there's nothing nice to say
    Do not say it at all
    It's not wise to criticize
    Somebody when they fall

    Do not kick me when I'm down
    Or I might hold a grudge
    Please be silent, hold your tongue
    If you insist to judge

    Words can hurt and they can sting
    I know this as a fact
    I have listened and I've learned
    The benefits of tact

    Tact is knowing what to say
    And learning what you shouldn't
    Tact is thinking before you
    Say something that I wouldn't

    I will not say one ill word
    I'll choose my words with care
    If you've lacked the art of tact
    Then you should be aware
