     Please tell me how I'm doing
    I'm giving it my all
    There's no review that's too bad
    No compliment too small

    Your opinion means a lot
    What is your point of view?
    When it comes to our friendship
    I'd like to impress you

    Maybe I don't show it much
    But I respect you too
    And the love you should receive
    Is really overdue

    Yet I truly understand
    That friends we'll only be
    Tell me what you want from me
    And tell me honestly

    I guess I need some feedback
    A kind of validation
    Your input can mean a lot
    That's no exaggeration

    Your feedback is important
    What about others too?
    Can I rely on strangers
    Like I rely on you?

    Maybe I've been insecure
    Or maybe I've been stressed
    Trying to please everyone
    Like I'm in some contest

    If I ever get the chance
    To be in the spotlight
    Will I fall flat on my face
    Or will I get this right?

    Strongly wanting to be liked
    Where no one's hating me
    Maybe it's a curse that I 
    Crave popularity

    So I wanted their feedback
    My yearning had begun
    Now I see, the fool's been me
    You can't please everyone

    That was a fabulous write and hit me close to home. It's so hard to try and impress everyone. So many people look for different things that it's hard to be what each person wants. It's tiring to try and be each individuals ideal. Though I doubt we would stop striving to be just that. Great write once again. I will try to eventualy get to your neglected poems. It may just take time. I enjoy the words that flow from your pen,keyboard, and mind. well done. -Tonya
