     Some people are lukewarm to
    The issues of today
    They'll give a tepid response
    And turn their heads away

    They're indifferent to take sides
    Concerned they might offend
    A potential enemy
    Even a trusted friend

    They are neither hot nor cold
    It seems like they don't care
    Yet I know that most of them
    Are trying to be fair

    To be neutral can be good
    Because you will not budge
    Or be influenced by those
    Who harbor any grudge

    If your objective enough
    To mediate each side
    It helps to be neutral when
    There's any great divide
