Echo
Precious memories unfoldWhen my thoughts turn to you
Even though you're silent now
What you've said still rings true
Ever since you passed away
A part of me has died
What can fill this emptiness
This hollow heart inside?
I can still hear your sweet song
Reverberating through
All the chambers of my heart
Which only beats for you
You have become an echo
That vibrates through the air
And each time I hear your sound
It's difficult to bear
It was hard to watch you fade
And memories could die
How could I ever forget
The way you said goodbye?
It still brings tears to my eyes
And redness to my face
Yet I know you're with the Lord
And at a better place
You live in my memories
Your echo does survive
All I must do is listen
To know your soul's alive
