    Ocean

     Empty spaces in my heart
    How I wish we weren't apart
    Lonliness has left a scar
    You have wandered off too far

    You have ebbed just like the tide
    And went to the other side
    I can't go to where you've gone
    All I know is life goes on

    You have drifted, went across
    Now I'm feeling such a loss
    I've been crying, tell me when
    Will I see you once again?

    When you left that fateful day
    Part of me too passed away
    When you died there on your bed
    I remembered what you said

    Words of wisdom did confide
    That no ocean is too wide
    Thoughts of love can span the sea
    You still live inside of me
