    Crossing The Line

    There are lines we must not cross
    Limits we should respect
    There are things we can accept
    Some things we can reject

    Some preach love and tolerance
    But omit certain facts
    Sometimes we must make judgments
    And condemn sinful acts

    Who am I to judge a man?
    I am a sinner too
    If someone sins against me
    Tell me, what should I do?

    I'll forgive, will I forget?
    How can I when I'm hurt?
    Be aware of vengeful thoughts
    It pays to stay alert

    Crossing the line, there are rules
    The world wants me to break
    I'm aware that I won't dare
    To make the same mistake

    i have a poem by this same title. unfortunately some cross that line with no regrets and just continue to hurt people. well done once again. -Tonya
