    Poem Commentary

    This poem is partially inspired by Psalm 27 in the Bible. Please read it whenever you need to feel the comfort that only God can bring. Amen.

    Shine

     Love has brought me to my knees
    Your presence is divine
    Like the sunrise to the east
    I love the way you shine

    Yes, I love the light you give
    That radiates above
    How could I fear dark shadows
    When I possess your love?

    You're the rainbow in the sky
    How could I feel afraid?
    Even through a rainy day
    Your colors are displayed

    Even though my enemies
    Tried to devour me
    You came in the nick of time
    Love can empower me 

    Truly, you're the light of love
    All I need is a spark
    Just a little bit of love
    Can get me through the dark

    Piercing through the clouds above
    Can your light heal the blind?
    Even when I close my eyes
    I see you in my mind

    The light that you shine to us
    Is visible to all
    There's no obstacle too big
    No person who's too small

    Shine your light on all of us
    You don't discriminate
    There's no prejudice in you
    There's no reason to hate

    You are love personified
    I'm thankful that you're mine
    What you do, is guide me through
    Your light will always shine

    Great message! Oh the love of Jesus.. hmmmm cuz I can't remember the rest of the words to the song. Thanks for the great read.
