    A Welcome Change

     I can tell from far away
    The change that's come from you
    It's a metamorphosis
    That's been long overdue

    A change for the better has
    Had quite a great effect
    On the way that you behave
    It's been close to perfect

    You've gone through a welcome change
    That I did not expect
    You are no longer the kind
    Of person to reject

    You are more approachable
    I hope this is a trend
    You're more thoughtful and so nice
    I'd like to be your friend

    Let me congratulate you
    My heart is truly moved
    In a way, I have to say
    You really have improved
