A Changing World
We live in a changing worldA new society
Dependent on raw science
And bold technology
With every new invention
I think we must admit
We don't own it, it owns us
We are like slaves to it
Older people remember
A life more simplified
They remember not having
A cell phone by their side
There was not an internet
Yet we managed to thrive
Without electronic things
Just how did we survive?
How did people live without
Their electricity?
We've lived for thousands of years
Without cars or TV
What was once a luxury
Becomes necessity
It's a fact that can be backed
By modern history
