Actual Beauty
Cosmetics are like a mask
Most of all women wear
Sometimes I do ask myself
What's hiding under there?
I have learned over the years
Beauty is more than skin
Have you ever considered
The heart that lies within?
When you look into a mirror
You think you don't look great
You believe that you're ugly
Self-concious of your weight
Please do not put yourself down
You're much better than that
Never ask me if your dress
Makes you look old or fat
You want to feel beautiful
But all you see are flaws
Why are you so insecure?
Tell me, what is its cause?
Love the body God gave you
Women are works of art
Plastic surgery can't change
The beauty of your heart
The heart of a woman is
So beautiful and pure
Love is blind, not undermined
By one who's insecure
I love what's beneath your skin
A personality
That exemplifies what is
Your actual beauty
