    Dear Enemy

     You hate the ground I walk on
    The ground would disagree
    Every step that I've taken
    Was only meant for me

    You criticize my journey
    As though I've been a fool
    You have been so hard to please
    Somebody mean and cruel

    Yet I've tried to be your friend
    Some things weren't meant to be
    I have wondered far too long
    Are you my enemy?

    Dear enemy, I love you
    But I won't let you win
    I don't like the things you do
    I hate it when you sin

    Dear enemy, believe me
    I love you, for it's said
    " Love the sinner, not the sin "
    You are my friend instead
