    Too Much

     Too much of nothing
    Is too much for me
    Too much of something
    Could make me happy

    Too much of anything
    Is more than I deserve
    I could ask for everything
    But I don't have the nerve

    I am undemanding
    Don't expect too much from life
    One house, one car, two kids
    And a very patient wife

    I am understanding
    Count on me for your support
    I would rather do too much
    Than always come up short

    I would rather take a chance
    Before I lose my touch
    Always yearning for your love
    I'll never have too much
