Where The Story Must End
Blogging,
more like flogging my life away
you said, why go there?
the stairs only go one way
Going up, going down
never quite coming clean
the simplest, written lines
psychoanalyzed a million times
Don't know if I have the means
to honestly make it on my own
picturing myself in an empty room,
this is where the story must end
Reddened eyes, emotional baggage
you tell me what you desire,
but I don't want for anything
strung out and so tired
Been out of the game for too long now
now I don't recognize the rules
how people have become tools,
not one to play the fool
Scaring,
falling stars aimed this way
these dreams always seem to die
buried half truths never seeing the light of day
Don't know if I have the means
to honestly make it on my own
an empty room is leading to this ruin,
where the story must end
