Loose Cannon
She sees him struggling
trying to find something
worthwhile to survive
While she juggles bags of clothes
talking to air on her cell phone
Going out to the casino to eat again
Letting those Indian men serve her
But she's not prejudice
After all, she married a Filipino
But wasn't it all just for spite?
Playing all these mind games
layer upon layer
doesn’t even bother with prayer
But she's had it up to here
Since he's a loose cannon
Interpret this any way you desire
These lines are burning with fire
Not playing silly games
Finding these fractured relationships rather lame
Sick of it all and feeling quite tired
What ever happened to
that woman he respected?
A title and a badge
went straight to her head
Now that stifled ego is fed
A wall of silence
Not committing to anything
Or passing judgments on anyone
Losing herself in work
to stop a mind from replaying the hurt
Playing all these mind games
layer upon layer
doesn't even bother to care
But she's had it up to here
Since he's a loose cannon
