Think Again
You have some nerve, treating me this way
blaming me for your past troubles,
passing judgements, giving ultimatums
I'm not the one who laughed in your face,
marriage proposals in a foreign place
life or a career?
or is a career your only life?
Some people find me standoffish,
but you can't judge someone
by what you think that you are seeing,
dig a little deeper,
this man is more than complex
You scream what is wrong with you,
while I look you up and down,
sadly shaking my head,
how you've lost your grip on reality instead
If it doesn't fit into a perfect box,
you discard it,
like rocks in a flower garden,
tossed over a crumbling wall
Now you've gone for a week,
how you won't even speak,
like this wall of silence,
is supposedly hurting me
Your pathetic impostor,
a parasitic body,
hates me to the core,
be careful for what you wish for...
Don't place words into my mouth,
of which I have never said,
don't take constructive criticism
as some insinuating attack instead
You only hear what you want to believe,
your one-sightedness is killing me
forgetting all I have ever done,
now you expect me to pack my belongings and run...
Think again...
