Breach
Won't acknowledge family
but a passing stranger
can hold her attention
such a tragic loss
life without the gloss
just crumpled paper and string
in the wrong hands
it doesn't mean a thing
such trash
outcast on the outside
but inside is another story
one with more passion
and a rich history
sunken cheeks, hallowed eyes
life coming too fast with no surprise
people drawing invisible lines
daring each other to cross them
pointing fingers that can only condemn
so I happily oblige
and take those fragile first steps
inquiring minds can only pry
but cannot breach me tonight
