    Rocking The Boat

    "Get him out of here"
    never mind all the times
    he helped you out
    whether you'll admit to it or not

    He will never forget
    when anyone else
    would have said, screw this!
    and quit

    But he made a promise
    and he intends to keep it
    those that can't comprehend
    plainly do not understand

    So why should he back track
    or reiterate?
    This line of questioning
    is a tad too late

    Do you think you are the only one
    in a sorry position like this?
    (yes)(yes)
    (yes)

    Rocking the boat
    or causing any more stress
    Yes their lives
    are a complicated mess

    The people who need
    to stand at his side
    apparently have already chosen
    the opposing one

    How can someone make a decision
    from only one point of view?
    misinformed from all the lies
    the guilty party spew?

    Not exactly well rounded
    quite to the contrary,
    makes him feel confounded
    when the familiar becomes quite scary
