    Inclination

     Outside this window
    viewing moving objects
    all shapes and sizes
    traveling in lines
    and circles
    insistent and determined
    connected by cell phones
    and computer devices
    talk is reduced to text
    and symbols
    shouting arguments
    in caps,
    like anyone will hear
    the choice French words
    that just erupted
    from this filthy mouth
    as coffee cascades
    across the keyboard
    dogs startled
    in the other room
    the door bell chimes
    drunkenly out of tune
    one of these days
    might answer the door,
    if ever felt
    so inclined
    to even bother
