If Only He Knew
If only he knew,
how to keep his guard up,
this glorious byproduct of his formative years,
learn by doing,
to hell with what you're screwing up,
telling these negative people to shut the heck up
categorizing is not organizing,
when people certainly don't fit into a perfect mold,
like some unrealistic movie,
preaching puritanical values,
to an unappreciative audience,
gorged to death on artificially flavored popcorn,
with sticky fingers wiping,
all along the cushions in front of them,
while 'tsk tsk' people eyeball the offenders,
from darkened room corners,
hidden in plain sight,
ushers grimacing with distaste,
while guilty of the same horrendous crimes
Guess he has always known...
