Contradiction
No pictures of you
just tainted memories
of how you snapped me in two
then went on your merry way
Half truths and a multitude of lies
saying one thing
but never meaning anything
telephoning friends as alibis
Not really bitter
been rather honest and upfront
since day one
unlike your pathetic little stunts
Isn't it a woman's prerogative
to change her mind?
but I'm still on the same page
while you're marooned in space
Under the influence
plagued by bitter experience
but this is me,
a walking contradiction
can't you see?
