Married
Dishing out the drama
thriving in theatrics
yet when tables turn
they can't stand it
Don't preach about double standards
when last I heard
you could get married
without an ensuing circus
Where is this true love
that you go on about?
all this created stress,
drawn into your latest mess
Preaching some version of Christianity
yet damning everyone to hell for homosexuality
ripping apart families
with such blind hostility and conviction
Shouting matches escalate
into the night, echoing hate
down the front walk,
plotting to escape
Will never marry
that point is rather clear
the world would turn upside down
all this normalcy would disappear
