    Complacency

     

    The problems of having
    long distance friends
    whom you've met on the internet
    but never in the flesh,
    face to face
    What could be a simple
    bad connection
    or a phone bill never paid
    Could possibly be
    a subtle hint
    to jump into moving traffic
    Please leave today
    Never understanding
    how these individuals seem to motivate
    How do they relate?
    Is it a complete fluke?
    Some twisted fate
    to always be lapping
    at the shores of miscommunication,
    Consuming the fruits
    of frustration?
    This cloud of uncertainty
    that always seems to be following me
    never opens up and just rains
    trying to prolong these miserable pangs
    and this viewpoint is rather strange
    to be quite vocal about it
    While others seem content
    getting by with stars in their eyes,
    so why can't I?

    Most people like to adorn emotional desguises when being read or meeeting someone for the irst time. I see your feelings palce on the cuff of your shirt as you search for inner piece and perhaps belonging......10 for this write for showing me my own insecurities.
